Hi, I’m Jenny, founder of Grandma’s Essence, a coffee brand rooted in heritage, quality, and community. We source premium roasted coffee beans from Haiti, alongside select origins including Ethiopia, Sumatra, and Costa Rica. Growing up in Haiti, I watched my grandmother roast coffee and saw firsthand how coffee farming sustained families and communities. Haitian coffee is rich, bold, and distinctive, yet remains underrepresented globally despite its exceptional quality. Grandma’s Essence exists to change that. Our mission is to introduce Haitian coffee to a broader audience while building fair, lasting partnerships with local farmers who rely on natural, time-honored methods. Beyond coffee drinking, we also explore innovative uses of coffee in the beauty and wellness space, expanding opportunities for farmers and entrepreneurs alike. This is more than a business venture—it’s a commitment to honoring Haitian culture, empowering farmers, and creating sustainable economic growth.
